It has been improved that the schools which make use of broadband connectivity are found to have improved academic results and increased learner motivation compared to those which do not make use of this technology.Schools minister has emphasised that technology alone does not guarantee educational success and evidence shows that technology has a positive impact on learning and broader outcomes when it is used as part of good teaching practice.

Anti-social behaviour app !!

launching a mobile phone application that residents can use to report issues including anti-social behaviour and graffiti is amazing. So residents can use their phone's camera to picture the issue. Using the phone's GPS, a location of the particular incident is also determined. This information is then delivered to the appropriate council team to deal with the issue. easy to use tool which empower residents to report things as they see them and get action. The app has been tailored for iPhones, Blackberries and Android mobile devices, and is currently used in US cities including New York, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco. the Local Government Association said that mobile apps and other technologies saved councils £230m in 2009, savings they suggested would increase as more technology becomes available. the criticism point is "why did they build an app for a phone most of your customers probably won't have?" It s a good question.
